walk & talk coaching in calgary

"When walking next to someone, a conversation becomes parallel play with each person looking ahead yet connected by the exchange."

- Esther Perel, therapist, author and podcast host

Having a coaching conversation while walking in Calgary is a great way to open up, as moving your body and breathing fresh air can make it easier to talk about your thoughts and goals.
Research tells us that the rhythm of walking enables having a more productive coaching session.

calgary's natural calming power

Spending time in nature significantly enhances your mental well-being. Calgarians can find solace in the city's parks, pathways, and natural areas. The sights and sounds of nature induce calmness and mindfulness, reducing stress and anxiety, lowering blood pressure, and easing symptoms of depression. Immersing yourself in nature allows you to disconnect from the pressures of daily life and reconnect with your inner thoughts and emotions, promoting relaxation and mental clarity. In short; the ideal circumstances for a coaching session to discuss where and who you are  right now and where you want to go.

get moving, feel good in calgary

Getting regular exercise, even something as simple as walking, has been shown to have positive effects on your mental health. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which are natural mood boosters that can help you feel less stressed and anxious. Not only that, but physical activity can also improve your sleep, boost your self-esteem, and increase your energy levels. Walk and Talk Coaching gets you up and moving while you work through things, encouraging your thoughts to flow naturally and promoting a general feeling of well-being. Taking stock of life and looking to the future begins with feeling good in your body.

let's talk, calgarians

The casual and relaxed atmosphere of Walk and Talk Coaching sessions can help you feel comfortable opening up and talking about things that might be difficult. It's often easier to discuss personal topics in an unstructured setting – the focus isn't just on the conversation, but also on the shared experience of walking and connecting with nature. This creates a greater sense of openness, allowing for deeper insights and personal growth. It's not easy to open up, but in the right circumstances it will  feel more natural (no pun intended).
